FAQ
Question
Why should artwork be professionally photographed?
Answer
Professional artwork photography ensures accurate colour, detail, and texture, which is essential for high-quality prints, portfolios, galleries, and online sales.

Question
What types of artwork do you photograph?
Answer
I photograph paintings, drawings, mixed media works, and other flat artwork for reproduction, catalogues, websites, and archival purposes.

Question
Can you photograph glazed and framed artwork?
Answer
Technically yes, but it's always better to supply the painting unframed and unglazed to get the best reproduction.

Question
Do you supply high-res images?
Answer
Yes. All images are supplied as high resolution jpegs via a download link. I can supply in other formats like TIFF but there are much larger and most of my clients find them to big to handle!

Question
Will the colours match the original painting?
Answer
Yes. Artwork is photographed using controlled lighting and colour-accurate workflow to reproduce the original colours as closely as possible.

Question
What files will I receive?
Answer
You’ll receive high-resolution JPEG files suitable for print reproduction as well as smaller web-ready versions for websites or social media.
