Why is professional photography important for holiday lets?
High-quality images make your property stand out on booking platforms and can significantly improve click-through rates and bookings.
How should I prepare my property before the shoot?
Make sure the space is clean, de-cluttered, and styled as guests would see it. Things like fresh linens, tidy surfaces, and good lighting make a big difference.
How long does a property photography session take?
Most holiday let shoots take 2–3 hours, depending on the size of the property and the number of rooms plus about an hour to edit the images back in my studio.
When will I receive the photos?
Images are typically delivered within 48 hours, ready for use on booking sites and your website.
Can you photograph outdoor spaces as well?
Yes. Gardens, terraces, views, and exterior shots are an important part of marketing a holiday property and are included where possible. Even if your property doesn't have a garden, an exterior shot of the front will be helpful for your visitors to make sure they are at the correct address.
How many photos will I receive?
The number of images you'll receive can vary due to the number of rooms and spaces to be photographed and whether you require exteriors of your garden etc. For most rooms I'll photograph from between one to three main images plus a small selection of details (making the most of your styling). So, for each main room you'll receive three to six images. Exteriors are photographed similarly.
Do you provide drone photography?
I don't provide drone photography but one of my colleagues does. I do, however, use a long pole outside so my camera can be positioned up to 6m high. This provides an excellent elevated viewpoint that gives a natural exterior view without the distortion encountered when pointing the camera upwards.
