Photographer’s Working Agreement
This explains how I work, what you can expect from your photography, and what I need from you to deliver the best possible results. It’s written to be clear and human, not legal or intimidating.
I also undertake other photographic commissions where appropriate, and this agreement applies to all commissioned photography unless otherwise agreed in writing.
By booking a shoot or commissioning work, you are agreeing to the approach outlined below unless we agree otherwise in writing.
About My Work
I am a professional photographer based in the UK, with a wide range of skills built up over more than thirty years. I mainly specialise in:
Product photography (commercial, editorial, and e‑commerce)
Holiday property photography (interiors, exteriors, and lifestyle details)
Artist reproduction photography (accurate, colour‑faithful documentation of artwork ready for print)

Each project is approached with care, consistency, and attention to detail, tailored to the specific needs of the client and the intended use of the images.
The Brief & Expectations
Before any photography takes place, I’ll agree a brief with you. This may include:
The purpose of the images (website, print, marketing, archive, etc.)
Style and tone (clean, dramatic, lifestyle, neutral, etc.)
Orientation, quantity, and any key shots required
Usage requirements (where and how the images will be used)

Clear briefs lead to the best results. If anything is unclear, I’ll always ask, and I encourage clients to do the same.

To ensure a smooth shoot and strong results, you are responsible for:
Providing access to the location or items being photographed at the agreed time
